A Legacy of Service: Ron Janowczyk Brings Special Strong to Northeast Tarrant County
Colleyville, TX – May 1, 2022 – Special Strong is proud to announce the opening of a new franchise in Northeast Tarrant County, Texas, led by Ron Janowczyk. After nearly four decades in another industry, Ron and his wife, Gloria, felt called to use their resources and experience to serve others through adaptive and inclusive fitness. Their passion is deeply personal, inspired by their youngest son, Jake, who was born with Williams Syndrome.
Ron’s journey reflects a family-driven mission to provide opportunities for individuals of all abilities. With a strong faith foundation and a desire to give back, he and his team are committed to serving clients with diverse challenges, including Down syndrome, autism, cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and stroke recovery.
“Special Strong gives us the chance to turn our personal experience into something that benefits the entire community,” said Ron. “Jake has been our greatest teacher, and through this franchise, we hope to help others live fuller, stronger, and more independent lives.”
Special Strong founder and CEO Daniel Stein celebrated the addition of the Northeast Tarrant County location. “Ron and Gloria represent exactly what Special Strong is about—faith, family, and service,” Stein said. “Their commitment to creating inclusive opportunities for individuals with disabilities is inspiring, and we are excited to see the impact they will bring to their community.”
Beyond his work with Special Strong, Ron is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame and enjoys exploring Texas on his motorcycle. His vision for the franchise is clear: to use adaptive fitness as a tool for empowerment, joy, and independence while leaving behind a lasting legacy of compassion and inclusivity.
