Irving, TX – Special Strong, a leading provider of adaptive and inclusive fitness programs for individuals with mental, physical, and cognitive challenges, is proud to announce the opening of its newest franchise serving Irving, Denton, Coppell, Grand Prairie, and surrounding North Texas communities. The new location is owned and operated by Bindu Srinath, a Certified Adaptive Fitness Trainer and local advocate dedicated to helping individuals of all abilities live healthier, more confident lives.
For Bindu, Special Strong is the natural next chapter in a journey that began more than 16 years ago with her own son. A former dental surgeon, she redirected her career after he was diagnosed with ADHD and learning difficulties, immersing herself in special education and movement-based therapy. What began as a mother’s determination to help her son evolved into a lifelong commitment to supporting children, teens, and adults with diverse abilities through movement, fitness, and compassionate care.
Bindu holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration and is a Certified Adaptive Fitness Trainer. Throughout her career, she has worked closely with individuals living with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other developmental differences, helping them build confidence, improve physical abilities, and achieve meaningful milestones through adaptive fitness.

The Irving–Denton franchise offers personalized one-on-one adaptive personal training, small group fitness classes, virtual coaching, and inclusive community fitness programs designed to help children, adolescents, and adults improve strength, balance, coordination, confidence, and overall quality of life.
Grand Opening Celebration
To celebrate the launch, Special Strong Irving–Denton will host a free Grand Opening celebration on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Pinstack Irving. Families are invited to enjoy adaptive fitness demonstrations, bowling, face painting, raffle prizes, giveaways, and an opportunity to meet the coaching team while learning more about the programs available throughout North Texas.
Special Strong was founded in 2016 by Daniel Stein, who began specializing in health and fitness for individuals with special needs after being diagnosed with a learning disability, mood disorder, and autoimmune disease. Today, the company provides adaptive and inclusive fitness programs for children and adults around the world living with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, rare genetic conditions, and many other physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities.
