Waco, TX – August 1, 2025 – Special Strong proudly announces the launch of its newest franchise in Greater Waco–Central Texas, led by franchise owner Liz Trujillo. With over 20 years of experience in the service industry as a restaurant owner and hotel general manager, Liz is now bringing her heart for faith, family, and community to a new mission—empowering individuals with mental, physical, and cognitive challenges through adaptive fitness.
A proud Spanish speaker (Se Habla Español), Liz has dedicated her career to making others feel seen, valued, and supported. When she discovered Special Strong and followed founder Daniel Stein’s journey, she knew this was the opportunity she had been praying for. The organization’s mission of inclusion, empowerment, and life-changing fitness perfectly aligned with her passion for hospitality and service.
