FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
IRVING–DENTON, TX — Special Strong, a leading Adaptive Fitness franchise dedicated to serving individuals with mental, physical, and cognitive challenges, today announced the launch of Special Strong Irving–Denton under franchise owner Bindu Srinath, serving Irving, Coppell, Denton, Grand Prairie, and surrounding North Texas communities.
Bindu brings more than 16 years of experience serving individuals with disabilities and diverse learning needs. She began her career as a dental surgeon, but her path changed direction when her son was diagnosed with ADHD and learning difficulties. Determined to help him succeed, she immersed herself in special education and movement-based therapy — a personal mission that grew into a career built around individualized, evidence-based interventions for children and families navigating dyslexia, ADHD, autism, and other developmental differences.
“Every small step forward for every athlete is what I define my success as — a smile, a first independent step, a moment of eye contact. Every milestone is worth celebrating.”
— Bindu Srinath, Franchise Owner, Special Strong Irving–Denton
Along the way, Bindu earned an MBA in Healthcare Administration and became a Certified Adaptive Fitness Trainer, combining her clinical, educational, and healthcare backgrounds to serve families more effectively. Today, she brings that same combination of expertise to North Texas through science-based adaptive fitness programs designed to help individuals with physical, intellectual, and developmental disabilities build strength, confidence, independence, and lifelong wellness.
A Calling Two Decades in the Making
“Discovering Special Strong felt like a blessing,” Bindu said. “It was the natural progression of my life’s work.” For more than 16 years, she dedicated her career to helping children and individuals with developmental and learning differences discover their strengths and achieve greater independence — and she saw Special Strong’s science-based model as a natural extension of that work, giving her the opportunity to expand her impact beyond education and bring adaptive fitness to children, teens, and adults of all abilities.
“Most of all, nothing brings me greater joy than seeing the smile on a caregiver’s face as they watch their athlete actively participate in the program and achieve those milestones,” Bindu said. “I believe every individual deserves the opportunity to reach their full potential, and I am honored to be part of that journey.”
